District Earns Prestigious State Distinction
District Earns Designation As “High Performing School District”!
As a result of the scrutiny of a team of educational professionals, lead by Dr. Aaron Graham, the Bergen County Executive Superintendent of Schools, we have earned the highest distinction possible by being designated as a “High Performing” school district!
The New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum, known by its acronym NJQSAC, is the system by which all public schools are monitored and evaluated. Our participation in this process culminated on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 with a comprehensive, day-long assessment of our district by the County team. Members completed the evaluation of 5 District Performance Review Indicators by meeting with Dr. John Richardson, Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Ron Guider, Assistant Superintendent of Schools/Business Administrator/Board Secretary, Mr. Matthew Paladino, Assistant Business Administrator, and Mr. Chris Onorato, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. The indicators were:

In addition, several County team members spent hours of observation and evaluation at several of our schools during actual visits/inspections. This process, in which our Supervisor of Building and Grounds, Mr. Mike Daglezt, participated, was effectively coordinated by Mr. Tom Kraljic, Director of Special Services.
Everyone in our school community... students, parents/guardians, building administrators, teachers, and support staff members including teacher aides, secretaries, and custodians have contributed greatly to the success of our school district and can take great pride and joy in our district having been designated... “High Performing”!
