Dear Parents/Guardians,
It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the principal of
Lincoln School. I have been a member of the Ridgefield
Park community since 1967 having grown up in the shadows of Lincoln
School. I am aware of the tremendous sense of community and parental
involvement that we are so fortunate to have in this Village.
My educational philosophy involves one uncomplicated premise: Provide a
safe and nurturing atmosphere where teachers can teach and students can
learn. Our responsibility is to foster a partnership with your home, our
school and our community. Through these efforts, all students can obtain
the necessary knowledge, skills, and motivation to become life long
learners and socially accountable citizens.
Returning to school each year is an exciting time when students eagerly
share stories of their summer experiences and anticipate meeting the
challenges of a new school year. The teachers, staff and administration
of Lincoln School welcome our students back to the classroom and look
forward to working with each child, encouraging them to learn new
concepts and to develop their academic potential. We encourage you to
participate in your child’s education as we work together on behalf of
every child in the school. Through collaboration and communication, we
can make this year a huge success.
