Tuesday, March 2 is Read across America Day - a day to celebrate and promote the joys of reading. To celebrate virtually, Ridgefield Park Junior/Senior High School Media Specialist, Ms. Quinn, recorded a video reading of an excerpt from a school library book for students to watch and listen to. The theme for the week supports a 2020-21 district wide initiative to promote social justice and to celebrate our diversity.
At our elementary schools, a similar theme is being followed during a week long celebration with lots of activities. Students are being challenged to keep the reading going throughout the month of March.
