To Register a New Student

Step 1

Gather ALL required documents BEFORE you start Online Registration:

  1. Registration Package: Print and complete the appropriate registration package for your child.
    1. Preschool ONLY Registration Package (English | Spanish)
    2. Elementary K-6 Registration Package (English | Spanish)
    3. Middle School/High School 7-12 Enrollment Application for Ridgefield Park Residents (English | Spanish)
    4. High School 9-12 Enrollment Application for Little Ferry Residents (English | Spanish)


  2. Supporting Documents:
    1. Birth Certificate
    2. Parent/Guardian ID
    3. Residency Proof - BOTH DOCUMENTS BELOW ARE REQUIRED
      1. Own residence:
        1. Deed or Property Tax Records
        2. Current Utility bill (PSE&G, water, etc.)
      2. Rent:
        1. Lease (must be current and include ALL PAGES) or Landlord's Affidavit (must be signed and notarized)
        2. Current Utility bill (PSE&G, water, etc.)
      3. Live with Others: 
        The owner or leaseholder must provide:
        1. A deed, property tax records, a lease (must include ALL PAGES), orLandlord's Affidavit (must be signed and notarized)
        2. A copy of their ID.
        3. A notarized letter/affidavit stating who lives with them and why.
    4. Medical Records - New Entrant Requirements:
      1. Immunization records
      2. Physical exam (completed by a doctor)

PLEASE NOTE

FOR STUDENTS TRANSFERRING IN FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL DISTRICT: ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION 

  1. Transfer Card from the previous school district.
  2. Academic records of the prior school district.

FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENTS TRANSFERRING IN FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL DISTRICT: ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION 

  • The most recent IEP/504 from the previous school district.


Step 2

Register Online

  1. Click the following link: Online Registration
  2. Complete all the required registration information. If you have problems uploading documents, please save and continue past the document upload section and complete the online registration.
  3. Once finished, you will be notified by the district via email.


Should you have any questions before or after completing the online registration, please contact:

  • Ms. Kelly Thompson for grades 1 - 12
