On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, the Home & School Connection Committee hosted a Family Learning Night as Roosevelt School. Bussing service from both Grant and Lincoln School was offered free of charge for families to attend.  Ms. Laura Wood and Mrs.Simone` Aynillian presented to parents a glimpse into the classroom during English Language Arts and Math Class. While the parents were engaged in the presentation, students were eating pizza and snacks and socializing with new friends.  After the presentation, students were invited to play various educational games while parents watched and listened in on their interaction with their peers.  At the conclusion of the event, students were provided with take home bags of math manipulatives to support their math learning and homework at home. Fun was had by all!
